Head & Shoulders CLINICAL Scalp Calming Treatment Tube leverages a custom applicator for precision dispensing and a striking shelf presence.
The custom applicator was developed for precise application to specific areas of the scalp, multiple times a day. The applicator was injection-molded in a custom-coloured pearlescent blue with a 3mm orifice, and welded onto a colour-matched D38.5 x 130mm tube, for a silhouette that forms a noticeable ‘V’ shape.
The tube is decorated with in-mold label technology, using an EVOH barrier, and a full coverage blue cold foil print with white silkscreen font and aqua accents.
Tube, applicator, over-cap and in-mold label are all made of polypropylene, for a mono-material design that is compatible with the rigid Polypropylene recycling stream, in accordance with the Association of Plastic Recyclers Design Guide for Tube Recyclability. It is small enough to take travelling, so you never have to part with it.
