Algae is about to change the World of Plastics. Our pack transforms algae into plastic, a whole new dimension in packaging. We use resins derived from green algae. Our pack provides an answer to two global environmental problems; using green macro-algae, if not collected and valorized, their proliferation is becoming a global issue in terms of environmental pollution, as well as limiting the use of fossil resources and instead providing an alternative bio-based and recyclable packaging film. Our new packaging film SUPEX 2011 ALG- 33 mic can be recycled with PP-based structures and therefore can be used in circular packaging design. In addition, our new film exhibits similar characteristics as standard BOPP structures while the use of fossil sources is reduced significantly.
