A customer previously shipped goods on heavy wooden pallets, whose weight was nearly equal to that of the cargo itself. They sought a solution to reduce weight, lower freight costs, and decrease CO2 emissions.
After collaborating closely with the customer and conducting thorough tests, we tailored a solution using Eltete’s pallet components specifically designed for their needs. As a result, the customer achieved their weight reduction goals while realizing significant logistical cost savings.
With our solution, they were able to fit 1.2 m² of pallet components into their warehouse, enough to assemble up to 48 pallets, compared to just 15 wooden pallets in the same space. This increased efficiency not only optimized their shipping processes but also freed up valuable warehouse space, allowing them to enhance their production capabilities.
