The gift packs were developed in optimized formats to perfectly stow the product mix offered by the sport article e-commerce. The consumer does not need to specify the size of the gift boxes, since the logistics team handles this procedure.    

The boxes present a resistant structure, with rubber eyelets and lock, designed to better stow the product and to make the assembly easier. Produced in Kraft paper, they have a more rustic appearance, which increases the brand concept value, supported by social values such as recycling and reuse.

 

Packaging closing optimization

The purpose was to remove the current plastic tape closing of upper and lower flaps and replace it with another mechanism. Bottom surfaces had to be flat to prevent goods damage by the bottom's relief impression. Lid construction allows  multiple closing and opening whilst keeping its full function. Inline production was preserved, contributing to  higher efficiency.    This solution means acceleration of the packaging process (30% time less/one unit),customer's claims reduction and elimination of hygienic problems caused by plastic tape usage in operations with special hygienic regime.Important aspect is saving 1440mm tape/package,which in yearly 240 000 pcs consumption has significant positive impact on financial cost and environment.

 

M-BOX

Our returnable package named ‘M-BOX’ is absolutely reusable unlike a disposable package made of paper or wood, single use only. E-tailer selling products for mums and babies wanted to increase customer loyalty. We went an extra-mile and created a CASTLE that inspires kids to explode their creativity and playfulness. Transport box into a toy – parcel with second life. Children end-users are now happier about the box than the content:-)    Safety way of assembling requires no knife or glue and there´s no risk of injury. The castle towers are shaped thanks to perforations on top flaps which don´t negatively affect the box stacking strength. Changing the material from double-wall to triple-wall the customer saves 9% of indirect costs.

 

About 1 ton! All-cardboard suspended packaging for roll products

This roll product was shipped in an iron box. Although it is a returnable box, it was not able to operate efficiently due to the time taken for returning and inspecting and fluctuations in the number of orders. By improving this specification, we achieved a great cost reduction effect.    

"The packaging material weight is reduced by 40 % from 90 kg, and fuel consumption is reduced. There was no return and repair expenses, and there was an improvement effect of tens of thousands of dollars per year. There is no precedent for 1 ton roll product packaging by cardboard."
